This plate is the same design as my starter plate, but instead of being white milk glass with gold trim, it is milk glass with an iridescent finish.
Pink and green and the major colors in the iridescent finish.
It is a colorful dish when under lights.
I received this plate as a Christmas present in 2012.
I believe that this one is considered to be rare — or at least, scarce. Anchor Hocking didn’t make very many of them in this iridescent color (called Aurora Shell by the author Gene Florence, though I don’t know if that’s a name he made up for it, or if it’s what Anchor Hocking called it, because I haven’t seen an Anchor Hocking catalog with it, yet.)
