I was recently surprised by a birthday gift of two beautiful and unusual egg plates. My son from Atlanta gave me two egg plates that hold eggs vertical rather than the more common horizontal arrangement. One has an hen shaped covered relish area and is a dazzling cobalt blue. The other is hen shaped in a beautiful green milk glass. I plan to serve whole Chinese Tea Eggs and whole Pickled Eggs in these two plates. I will post pictures of the results.
