This egg plate is constructed of white china formed into a chicken shape featuring a glossy head and tail feathers in colors of blue and green.
I like the way this egg plate looks on a picnic or patio table.
The eye of the chicken is very realistic and appears to be watching over the eggs.
I received this plate as a gift in 1999.
The markings say Department 56.
I have never seen another plate in this design.
I welcome any additional information about this egg plate that anyone may have. I would also be curious to know if anyone else out there has a similar piece.
